As the Epicurean Journeys pop-up dining series comes to Singapore, it brings with it 5 internationally celebrated chefs from 5 destinations around the world, among them Indian Chef Manjit Gill – a highly acclaimed chef with over four decades of excellence in the culinary profession.
Manjit Gill, who is ITC Hotels Luxury Collection India’s Corporate Chef, oversees the famed Bukhara, Dum Pukht and Royal Vega restaurants. With Bukhara’s prominence amongst the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2016 and Dum Pukht ranking on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy List 2016, Chef Manjit Gill is widely acknowledged for his formidable work in propagating India’s culinary excellence on the global culinary scape.
This culinary genius is presently in Singapore as part of Epicurean Journeys. As we eagerly await the start of the Epicurean Journeys, with the very first meal on 30th May being Chef Manjit’s Prithvi Rasa: A Journey of 6 Tastes, we asked him a few questions about his food.

How did you create the menu for Epicurean Journeys 2016? Where did the inspiration come from?
It is inspired by a journey through Indian gastronomy. The theme of the dinner is Prithvi Rasa – a Journey of 6 Tastes, and it will feature dishes from three ITC Hotel restaurants: Bukhara, Dum Pukht and Royal Vega. continue reading
