The award-winning Rang Mahal restaurants are famous for their holistic approach to dining andTable by Rang Mahal is no different. Table serves Indian Food with a twist – a healthy twist! And they take the holistic bit seriously – we were served water with chia seeds in it, a practice that I plan to adopt at home.
Located on the ground floor of Naumi Hotel, Table by Rang Mahal has been tastefully designed and has a relaxed bistro-style setting.
On recommendation of Tony, the very attentive Assistant Manager, we started with the Tulsi Sherbet ($9). The ice blended concoction of basil, fresh lime juice and ginger ale was refreshingly yummy, perfect for combating the afternoon heat. A must try!
The Chilli Cheese Kulzza (S$8) that came next is one of Table’s bestsellers and understandably so. An Indian spin-off on Pizza Margarita, the Kulzza was a fresh naan packed with mild yellow cheddar and sprinkled with fresh coriander and mild chilli. It was melt-in-the-mouth yum, although I’ll request for half the cheese next time. It was served with a slightly fiery chilli-garlic chutney that complemented it perfectly.
